Greg Eleftheriou is a composer, producer and musician. He has composed music extensively for films, counting 15 short films and 2 feature films. Among them “Nothing Holier Than A Dolphin” which won the Audience Award in Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival, feature film “Travelling Ghosts” which was nominated at the Hellenic Film Academy Awards in the “Best Original Music” category and “Pashka” who won the Silver Owl in Tirana International Film Festival. A recent highlight is the film “The Sea Remembers My Name” produced by Muhammad Taymour and Bela Tarr. He was also selected at the Music Cinema Marseille film festival’s masterclass in 2020 in a group of eight composers from all around Europe to present his composition and performance.
Greg also composes music for the theatre, his work has been performed in National Theatre of Greece, Greek National Opera, Ro Theatre (Rotterdam) and Théâtre Comœdia (Marseille) among others.
His concert music includes works for choir, small ensembles and solo instruments. He has composed music for Marina Satti’s choir “Chores” and Savina Yannatou for the Greek National Opera and for different upcoming ensembles in the National Theatre of Greece.
As a performer, Greg is an accomplished guitarist having recorded 5 studio albums, and toured Europe & Latin America repeatedly. His upcoming personal discography blends balkan tradition in a western music environment.

Sometimes, small scale music isn’t enough, so I explore bigger ensembles, as traditional as the orchestra and as experimental as it can be.
THE BALKAN SIDE
One can hide his identity, but not his origins. I come from the south Balkans and occasionally that needs to be printed in my music.
THE DARK SIDE
My love and interest in contemporary music is somehow portrayed into more edgy and dark pieces, where timbre and disharmony are combined.
THE ROCK SIDE
I have toured the world multiple times performing rock and metal music as a guitarist. It is always a safe and sweet spot for me to compose close to this experience of mine.
THE DANCE SIDE
If music needs to move us, why not make us dance? There are times that I interpret dance music in my own way, even if a specific style is needed.
